A guidebook to four short hut-to-hut treks in Austria's Hohe Tauern National Park, covering the Reichen, Venediger and Glockner groups. Also included are optional ascents of neighbouring peaks including the Gross Glockner (Austria's highest mountain) and Gross Venediger, and suggestions for two other treks.

• Includes hut directory offering information about the huts and their facilities and summarising link routes between them
• Treks range from 7 to 9 days (excluding the optional excursions)
• Three treks require only good fitness and mountain walking experience, whereas the glacier tour involves glacier crossings and the optional ascents frequently call for mountaineering skills (grades F and PD)
• Huts are open from mid-June to September
