Eritrea is one of the few nations to be born in actual conflict in Africa. Its mountainous terrain and interesting and friendly people make a visit worthwhile.

The map includes an inset map of Asmara showing the main streets and places of interest. Another inset shows the country's annual rainfall. The map is heavily annotated with history and information.

The legend is in English and Arabic. The legend includes points of interest, ruins, national parks and reserves, airports, bus stations, post offices, police stations, embassies, informatin centres, hostles, forest, sand dunes, coral reefs, etc.
